My L5240, LA854 FEL, L2674 snowblower, & SBX box blade arrived today. I went through Snell Equipment in Potsdam, Ny and couldn't be happier. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I'm still waiting for the Anbo grapple/rake to arrive, plus the hydraulics for the SB chute. I traded in my M9000 since we no longer have our cattle. The tractor is used mostly for work in the woods, plus about 5 acres of foodplots. The 9000 is just too big to manuever on the trails out there. Just wanted to share some pictures! We're supposed to have a good storm come through tomorrow night, so the snowblower got here just in time.

Fine looking machine, Tom.
Seems the Kubota XX40 series have been a great tractor for many TBN'ers.
Enjoy the New Toy/Tool!

Good looking rig! Those cabs sure look cozy with white stuff on the ground. BTW are you planning to add weight? The LA854 will lift nearly a ton.

Talon Dancer

ps Nice cameo in the rearview mirror:)

Thanks for the compliment on the rig. (funny, I didn't even realize I took my picture in the mirror!) The rear tires are loaded...they did that for free.

I like your new rig also. We get a lot of snow here regularly, so I think the rear mounted blower would be a pain unless you can use the mirror to back up and blow. How is the hand crank chute rotator?

I don't get anywhere near the amount of snow here that you do. I'm far enough from Lake Ontario that I don't get the lake effect. For that, I'm thankful! I'll have a chance to test the blower out when I get home from work today. We got about 6 inches overnight, and supposed to get another 6 today. I'm sure the hand crank is going to be a pain, but it'll make me appreciate the powered one even more. (it's backordered). My driveway is fairly short, so backing up won't be a big deal.....two passes and I'm done.
