my rear bumper

here is how my rear bumper is comin out so for. i wanna add something else to it but i don't know what yet. i'm gonna finsh painting it tomorrow and later tonight. i might make me a new front bumper too i made this one out of inch and a half schedule 40 pipe . it's stronge i might put a hitch on it . i'm mounting it to the bottom of the bed.

right in the center i'm thinkin of putting a 6"hole and put some 1"x1/4 flat bar on the side of it . but the reason for the hole was i was thinkin of making a littile rope box i figure i can make the box 29"wideabout 15"deep and 5"maybe 8"high.that would be a good sized rope and shackle box.the piece on the bumper where the exspanion metal is right now is 29"x2"and 1/4.the 2and 1/4 is enough for me to get my hand into to get stuff out.i'll post some more when i'm finished .

for one i got help and two this is a small job and three i take 12 narcotic pain killers a day. i.m trying to teach my sons the wedling trade. i'm certfied in pretty much everything but heliarc and i am a first class fitter.i got a folder full a certificates. so as for as light racks and trailer hitchs and bed rails/rops racks. i can't see payin for thatnot at no 200.00 and 400.00 a pop for some pipe racks when i can make them out of solid round bar for 1/4 the price. those guys selling that stuff on the internet are markin it up so much they are cutting their own self out .most have auto pipe benders so you get a precise bend everytime and they can make stuff twice as fast but sell it 4 times as much??

it's kinda hard to see it in the dark but i'll get a better picture tomorrow. after we got it mounted me and my buddy said mand we gonna start one tomorrow for his rhino and do it in black and grey or black and silver.. it really didn't take us that long from start to finish about 5 hours and thats with letting the paint dry.

Tommy, That looks very sharp !! As far as needing something else added to it all I can see is possible a John Deere logo in the middle like is in the front of my machine.............................Again, it looks awsome !!.................How much for you to build me one and send it to me?...........................Roger

i don't know how much the bumpers go for but this one i can do for about 150.00 maybe a little less.. i'm thinkin of putting them on ebay as soon as i get enough stuff done . but right now all i have is the rack the light rack bed rails (man they come in handy) the rear bumper.the cv boot guards and i made a new winch mount for my winchthe stock one wasn't all that.lol the rear rack mounts to the delux cab and it holds a good 200lbs max for sure but the most i keep up there is about 60 or 70 lbs. now the shipping might be a bit high being this bumper isn't made out of light metal it's built to lastand to take a wallop thats one reason i built it because i backed up into a tree and dented my tailgate so i made a bumper so no more dents.you can "pm" me and we can work something out.
