I bought these Hella 55 watt work lights at 4Wheel Parts for $12.00 Ea. They have the Rubber Housing. I installed a heavy duty 20 amp rated pull type switch from NAPA beside the factory switch. They are very bright and work real well for night work. I was bush hogging till 9:00 pm the other evening with no trouble at all. Next I want to put a small strobe on top for when I drive down the highway to my other property.

Nice. I had a couple of Hobb 55w flood lights I finally got around to putting on my ROPS. I had to make them well protected because of the branches I drive through when logging. It's huge improvement.

Goo Evenin Randy,
It looks good to me, and I guess the tractor alternator can handle the extra load allright !

What Al didnt mention is that it seems funny that your bush hoggin with those lights, and up here we will be pushing snow around with any extra lighting on our tractors ! ;)

Good idea !!!

On the strobe, I have one on my machine that shoots al the way around (it is circular). Drives me batty at night so I put some AL Foil inside so it reflects out the back and not toward me.

This all said, there are some nice LED flashers that I would look at. Much more reliable than the conventional strobes in a shakey environment.

I have not had any problems so far and it has been this way almost a year. Of course I do not even need the factory head lights with this setup but have not had any issue when both are in use.

This is a pic of last December. We got 4 inches that is a lot for us and it had been about 10 years sinse we had this much. In 1993 we got 1 foot and the night temps stayed 0 for several days. Hundreds of homes and business's pipes burst and the roads were shut down for days. You fellows could have made a lot of money down here.

Nice setup. About ten years ago I installed lights on the outside of my ROPS similar to the way the flashers are mounted. One faces forward and the other toward the rear with individual switches on each. Loved this setup initially especially the individual switches. Now that my pine trees have grown, I am constantly hitting branches with the lights. One is currently not working. Excellent job putting them inside of the ROPS.

Fel on the front. There is a pontoon boat trailer in front of that. On the rear I have a Delta Hook Quick Hitch system. I have seperate female hitch plates for my Bush hog seen and my Disc and Roto Tiller . Hooking up and unhooking superfast and easy.

I am shopping to do the same or similar to my BX25 . I want an amber beacon on top for in or near roads and general safety. I found this for 99 bucks w/ an added 37 bux for magnet mount so I can remove it;

I see kubota has a B7335 rear work light kit that might work well w/ 2 placed
outboard on the rops. Perhaps if I use a rubber washer and a nyloc nut I can make them rotatable for foreward or aft use.

If it helps anyone here, I purchased 2 inexpensive tractor worklights at NAPA, and faced one forward and one backward. Works great for me, but your mileage may vary.

I have metal brackets that surround the turn signals on my ROPS..............I just drilled a 3/8 hole in the bracket and mounted the lights there.

Geez I wish I could find a U bolt like the one on the Kubota work light. I ended up using 3" diameter magnet mounts from Harbor Freight to mount mine. Works great and I can relocate if necessary.
