Oil & Fuel My RZT fuel tank cap leaks, how can I fix this?

Got a Cub Cadet RZT 42. Bought new in summer of 2006.

The fuel tank cap leaks. No matter how tight I twist it to close it. It still has the gasket inside the cap.

How do I fix this problem of leaking expensive gas?

Did it always leak or is this something new? If this is a new problem I'd start by getting a new gasket. The old one may have gotten hard and isn't sealing. I'd also check to make sure the cap doesn't have a crack.

Bought new in 2006. Isn't it still on warranty? If so it sounds like a dealer problem...
