My saw plan

When it comes to saws, as long as we are talking about pro saws, Brand wars are pointless. I dont like the people who say one is better or more reliable than another. They are all good. When choosing a saw, IMO, its more important to look at things like ergonomics, price, and dealer support as opposed to "what brand".

**** no my Ford is better than your Chevey...wait wrong thread.

I've got a 391, working on my second saw now (by working on I mean trying to convince the wife to let me...)

Wow, thats news to me. But it looks as though it isnt in the USA yet. And who knows if it ever will be.

Dolmar seems to have lots of models that arent available in the usa. Emissions??? Some look pretty sweet. But that 6100 isnt even listed on their main site yet.

If you dont select a country on their site, you can see all the models. DOLMAR - Chain saws gasoline

Like the 115 that is still available. Only a tad less power than the 5105 but a pound lighter. Or the 4605 that is more powerful and lighter than the 460??

I am a chainsaw addict. I have 13 chainsaws of various brands--mostly Stihl Husqvarna Makita and Echo. I have a Stihl 200t that is near perfect condition but it is a top handle and I don't use it much for ground cutting.
Of all the saws I own, My favorite saws are Makita/Dolmar. 401 and 520i.
Fantastic saw that fit me the best.
