I don't know if this same spring is used in other MF CUT models, but...
Made a couple of passes with the bushhog this evening and engaged the clutch to reverse and cut near a small tree. Heard something break, and suddenly I wasn't going anywhere. It was pretty evident that the clutch was screwy, because the tractor would hardly move and the clutch was slipping. Pedal wouldn't return all the way out because the spring had broken and fell in the path of the lever the pedal moves in and out against the firewall. The same spring broke a couple of years ago and they replaced the clutch, PP and throwout bearing under warranty. Then when they put it back together the clutch pedal still wouldn't return out... Then they found the broken spring and fixed it.
Since I've had two of these little jewels break I thought I'd post a caution.
