3550 Fard Backhoe and a 1948 Farmall Cub,
I was in the stor4ethe other doay and heard a gagle of isle blocking women cackling over that stupid extreme couponing show and all their savings. One said a man wouldnt be smart enough to do that. I thought about my version of it day before yester day I stopped at the scrap yard near work. I bought an old cut down Bermuda crimper with a roller to crimp hay for work for 183 dollars It would have cost me 1800 for the same size from the factory, got a 50 gallon round ended made in USA Galvanized stock tank nearly new for 6 bucks a Lawson 24 section steel bolt bin for 2. And the grand finally was an old disc mower frame that had every thing but the drive pto and a good bar.

THe gear box and frame were perfect the disc bar was bad. Gave me a great frame for my ditch mower for 50 bucks.

Yeah, you did great, put those old dusties in the store to shame

I was at a scrap metal junk yard the other day, they don't have equipment to salvage, but all kinds of components and heavy steel stock that would cost a fortune to buy new.

Just have to watch out for the rats and falling forklifts, yeah that's a forklift precariously perched at the top of the 20 foot high pile

JB.
