My ZL1000DT headlights are taillights!!!!!!!!!!!!

We giving the new unit the once over, and I noticed that the headlights are actualy glass lens w/ reflector, and tail light style bulb. No wonder they are not very bright.

I am going to start a new project to see if I can replace them with sealed beam headlights. Stay tuned.

Turns out the lamp this ws in my l225dt was a standard 1157 lamp, which is used on most american cars as tail lights and turn signals. Rather than try and replace the entire lamp with a 4.5" seal beam (hard to find), I decide to upgrade the lamp bulb with a Polarg M12. Claims to be 45 watts on high. They cost about $10 a piece. When I get them I will update post on how much brighter this setup is.
