Mysterious YM2200 lever

Just acquired a YM 2200 it has a lever that I do not know the function of, sitting in the seat on the left hand side and behind the seat a little bit is a lever that comes out of the differential housing it seems to have 3 positions, all the other levers are where they should be, PTO in front of seat on left side of tranny, range shifter on right side, diff. lock is at right heel, and of course 3-pt control is at right hand, dont know what other levers I need LOL

I am wondering if it could be a PTO speed change lever. It may have one lever to engage/disengage, and another to change speeds. Just a thought.

The YM2200 has a 4 speed 2 lever pto.

Thanks guys, think yall are on the right track, has to be something to do with PTO.
