I've actually had pretty good luck with Amazon. Got the DeWalt Miter Saw Stand last December for $149 w/ free 2 day shipping and Lowes wanted $199 for it. Amazon also offered a deal where if you spent XXX number of $ you got a $25 instant rebate. Got a second set of saw clamps for $8 perfect for when I get my metal cutoff saw. These normally sell for $35 themselves. I thought $157 to my door was a pretty good deal. Finally had a chance to put the stand to some real use the past couple of weeks and boy I sure do like it. As much as I like the miter saw before, I absolutely love it now.

Ditto on Amazon. My LIFE is buying stuff on the internet. Don't like driving places to shop, when it takes almost zero effort to shop and price online.

So anyway, back to topic ... I can't tell you how many times I've done somewhat exhaustive searches for comparison prices only to come back to Amazon for the lowest price. It's POSSIBLE, but many many times it turns out to be Amazon.

As long as you've picked your brand and model, it's pretty easy to let Google find the lowest price.

Doing this for many years how and hundreds of items all the way from CDs, electronics, software, trees (yes), a couple of toilets, a bunch of plumbing, a wash basin or two. Just haven't bought my tractor online yet. :) Not one problem or stolen identity or any such issue.

I'd just pick the lowest cost. Lowest cost meaning price, plus tax, plus shipping. Lowest net cost that is.

Good luck.

Just bought 3 Bostitch nailers one at a time through Amazon with no problems.

These are not for commercial work so I buy facory reconditioned ones which are cheaper & work like new.
