I am looking for a narrow grapple to grub rocks with. My 60 " Anbo is too wide for grubbing in very rocky ground. Anyone make a 24" wide unit??

No one aware of manufacturer of narrow grapple!!. My Anbo has too wide a jaw to readily dig around the larger partially buried rocks that bounce my disc arould when foodplotting. I've been using pallet forks to grub them out, but a grapple with 2 foot wide jaws would be perfect.

Just a question, If it is only two feet wide, can you see it in front of the tractor? JC

Good question about visibility. I generally have a guy on the ground with hand signals to guide manuvers, so 2 foot wide would be no issue.

I have the heavy duty Markham grapple, it is less than 48" but wider than 24", I can't remember the exact dimensions off hand.

It is really good for getting into the ground and grubbing up rocks.

I have also seen a stump bucket with grapple that is about 18" wide, google stump grapple and you should find it.

Edit:

It turns out that Markham sells a 24" stump grapple.

I wonder if Markham does any custom work, say a 24" wide mini gator.

Hit the link above, it looks exactly like what you are describing.

I have the extreme mini gator which is a little wider than 24" but seems to be a good compromise.

Markham will do custom work, the lady on the phone is very nice.

Thanks for the stump bucket/grapple link. I had been on their site before, but didn't see that one. The stump bucket alone may be enough for my purposes, without the grapple component. Would save some weight. Wouldn't be able to "grab" anything though.
