I'll be there every day, hanging out around booth 154, 155 in the South A Hall. (I'm sure I'll have to stroll around a bit as well /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) Maybe we can schedule some get-togethers for TBN members. Will anyone be there representing TBN?

I went to the Farm Progress Show this year in Illinois and although it was interesting, I probably will not go back because the compact tractor stuff was minor compared to the serious farm equipment. Do you think this Louisville show will be mostly big equipment?

My guesstimation is there will be a bit of everything.
The best way to find out I think would be to e-mail the folk from the webpage .
I don't see what that could hurt and it certainly won't cost anything but a few minutes of Your time.

While the NFMS started out primarily as a "big ag" show, most manufacturers realize that their fastest growing market segment is in the "under 40HP" category. I can assure you that all the majors and most minors will be there with their compact and subcompact offerings, tractor, equipment and accessories. It is a good show, I hope you'll make it and I also hope that all those who do make it report back to TBN for the benefit of those who live too far away to attend.

Look me up while you're there. I'll spend most of my time in South Hall A at booths 154 and 155. Always good to put a face with the name and meet a fellow TBN'er.

Follow-up report:
Went down there yesterday and had my fill of tractor stuff for awhile. Definitely worth the trip for me. For a two hr drive each way, I saw more interesting stuff than in a month of weekends going from dealer to dealer. I'm not in the market for a CUT, but with all of the brands that were there, it would have been even a better trip.
One of the more interesting displays was by TBN'er JimMc with his top n tilt system. Got to met him and he said he had had about 6 of us stop by. If I can convince myself I'd use it enough, I'll buy one. Appears to be well made-only a couple of plastic components but probably use-appropriate. Interchangeable cylinder ends in case your next tractor is different. Great range of movement on his demo tractor. Probably most important is if I have a problem, there's access to the person who knows every last O-ring in it.
If this is an annual event, its probably worth a 5 or 6 hr one way drive, especially if you want to buy a CUT.
