I was wondering about that Jon. In the maintenance section it said to replace the filter.

If I have a complaint in the brief time that I have owned this tractor, it would be the manuals. They are poorly written(interpreted), and some vital info is missing. For example, in the controls section, the Double Acting Lever(A,B) is labeled in the picture, but there is no explanation as to its use. I put the Hyd. pump under a terrific load when I disconnected the the BH for the first time to hook up a 3 pt. implement. I could have bursted a hose or damaged the pump. Fortunately my dealer was still open and I found out that I had to put the lever in nuetral. Still, I don't know when to use what position(A,B). All I know is that it was in the A position for the BH.

Maybe KiotiJohn could contract with Kioti to rewrite the manuals correctly. That should be worth more than the price of a new DK45S. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So far, I've only been contracted to edit the CK25/30 owner's manual and do some installation instructions for some of the options they offer. They didn't want to pay enough for me to really create a much better manual for the CK25/30, so it was mostly just editing the Konglish (korean english) to read better. However, I did add a section on using shuttle shift and HST transmissions, and added hundreds of words to the Index, then they didn't put the new index in because the man in charge of the project couldn't understand why we needed an index!
I would be that the new DK45S manual will have a lot of information that relates to the older version and not the new just as the brochure for the new DK65S has the specs of the older version and not the new! Oh well, they like to cut corners when it comes to copy writing.
