If I can order photos............

I'd like the biggest, heaviest vehicles you have to do the towing and be towed. As long as it is within your laws and towing limits.

(I assume to tow a truck on a trailer and another behind that you must have a BIG tow vehicle)

Our towing laws allow towing of 1 or 1.5 times the weight of the tow vehicle TOTAL.

If you are going to show us up, better do it in style.

That standard does not look familiar to me./w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif The side markers should be on the same wire as the tail lights, the stop lights are included with the left and right turn, the blue wire is normally used for electric brakes, and there should be terminals for backup-lights and a battery connection. Maybe there are several different standards for these connections. I know the one you listed is way different than the ones that come with the 7 pin RV connectors I have connected.

I just did a little searching and came up with this: <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.rverscorner.com/wiring/7pole.html>RV Trailer Wiring connection</A> This is the setup I am familiar with. It mentions that there is a different standard that the semi-trucks use. Maybe this is the one that was posted earlier.

The Standard that I listed is for Truck-Trailer. This standard is also use on big farm tractors and implements or at least some of the green ones that I work with.

I may not know the laws as well as I should but so far as I know I can load the trailer to the max and pull it legally with a Honda Civic so long as I'm properly lighted. I know this makes no logical sense, but, in the immortal words of Yakov Smirnov, "America. What a country!" /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

When I use my Tahoe to tow it's not uncommon at all for me to have a vehicle of equal or greater weight on the 2,000 pound trailer. If I'm towing heavy (one on the bed and one in tow) for a long distance I'd probably want something bigger than my Tahoe for the task. Tahoes are a shorter wheelbase class 1 4x4. I'm considering going to a class 2 Suburban K-2500 4x4 if I'm going to be moving two very often.

As to your request for a heavy towing vehicle, I can show a Peterbilt single axle but that's not what I would normally use at all.

I moved the trailer to the office back lot today but lost the light before I thought to load it for a picture. I'll try to get one taken Monday or Tuesday.
