Need 3000 power steering

Restoring my father-in-law's 3000 Ford and would like to put power steering on it. Never had it, he bought it new and didn't get that apx. $300.00 option, trying to save money, said he regretted not getting it ever since. Any help out there? ALSO, I have to either put PTO in gear before staring or just idle real low and cram it in, won't disengage with clutch as it should, any help there as well?? allen@tennesseeland.com

What tranny ya got? I fthe ind pto.. may be warped discs.. etc.

On the power steering. There is a single cyl version for sale at ytmag... 3 versions available from about 600$ to about 1200$

Also, i believe jackson power steering -may- have an option for the 3000 ( may not ).. his stuff is pricey but I'v not heard anything bad.
