Need a Headlight Bezel

Put a tree root through the grill three years ago and have been moving the grill around the barn ever since. Now that it's 100+degF every day I'm picking up some inside projects, including rebuilding the grill assembly.

Called one dealer seeking a bezel and they won't call me back.

Called a second dealer and she couldn't find the part but seemed to remember having ordered one before. Her memory was that you can't just order the bezel but must order a whole new assembly to the tune of $350.

My manual shows a completely different arrangement than I have - two single bezels and a center ornament. I have a one piece as shown.

Anybody have one they'd like to sell? I'll fabricate something before I'll drop $350 to replace a piece of plastic.

I ran a dead limb thru my 2810 grill and bezel about a year ago. I called my dealer and he also stated the individual parts that are listed in my parts catalog is no longer available and you have to buy the whole grill assembly. I don't remember the price, but it was around $300.00. I could not find a used grill or bezel so I got out the fiberglass repair kit and pieced it back together using the fiberglass mat for reinforcement on the back side of the parts. It is not perfect but looks pretty good and it has held up for a year now.

I would take the grill to a GOOD body shop and have them plastic weld it then sand down the welds and paint it whatever color you need it to be. Plasticolor has a chrome paint that is really quite good, but you must first paint the object gloss black. Should be a lot cheaper than a new one and if done right, you'll never know it was broken.

I cracked and broke off the red portion of my front grill from a similar instance, and I used crazy glue GEL to fix it right. You cant even notice where it was broken- unless you know where to look. ANYONE WANT TO BY A NICE 3520, GENTLY USED? jUST KIDDING.

I've just about finished fiberglassing the red grill back together. I may try glassing the bezel - though I'll have to recreate the mounting tabs. That or a thin piece of plate seem to be my only two options.

If it is a Century tractor try the number listed in your owner's manual.
It is now a different company, but they have significant parts and accessories that are nos (new, old stock).
They cannibalized a few of the last Century tractors for critical parts, so there are a lot of trim & finish parts still there, e.g. fenders and such. Also whole engines, transmissions, loaders, buckets, etc.

I recently bought a set of turf tires and rims there and this week got a C86 back hoe, the Amerequip 8600, for what I consider to be a very good price.
Biz trips have taken me frighteningly close to Harrisburg with a large empty trailer, so I have been able to do my own shipping - more or less on the way home.
