Gents - Until a year ago, I had a New Holland 555E Industrial TLB to work on my property. I cleared five acres, dug a quarter acre pond, moved a few thousand yards of dirt, and then sold it.

I now have five acres of pasture, three acres of woods, a barn, four horses, and a very sore back. I have decided that I need another tractor, but much smaller than the previous one.

I'd like some suggestions from you NH guys about which machine to look at. I have the need to move a good bit of dirt, drag logs, do some periodic trenching, grade my driveway, and be able to keep the tractor in my garage if possible. I want a 4 in 1 FEL and a backhoe. I would like to have a box blade, and eventually a finish mower. I'm thinking something in the 30 hp range???

I know quite a bit about industrial machines, but very little about farm machines, so any advice you could give would be appreciated.

check out the T1530......it is a 45 hp, 4 cylinder, it is a basic simple tractor, but is a heavy built tractor and the loader that goes on it, 250tl is stout and the backhoe will be too......good tractor for the $$$

We have a Workmaster 55 which is a little bigger and still a basic tractor. We have the FEL and also have the backhoe attachment. Highly recommended.

There's also a Workmaster 45, which I believe is the same engine without a turbo.

The WM55 is 47 hp at the PTO
