Need a picture of a American Longrifle for Daughter's Book report

I need a favor. The 8 year old daughter is doing a book report on "Last of the Mohicans". As part of the report, she has to bring in 5 items that are important in the story. One of the items she wants to bring in is a life sized picture of Hawkeye's rifle (an American/Kentucky Long rifle)--we have already checked with the school and it is okay for her to bring in a picture of a gun since it is associated with the book report and is an important feature in the story.

I don't have one and don't know anyone with one and all of the images on the "internets" I can find are low resolution. I am concerned that when we print them out at full scale (50-70 inches), they will be too grainy.

I know there are some black powder aficionados here. Is there anyone who would be willing to post or send me a high res picture of their Long Rifle?

Find an image that you like. Convert it to a tiff FILE, 300 dpi min. 400 is what you want.
Go to a blue print shop & specify what size you want the finished picture to be.
The printer will do the scaling & fill in the blanks.
Lots of work for a 1 time image. & it could be quite costly.
A friendly blue print shop will even scan for you
Don't understand why image has to be life size. regular print should work for what you want.
I have done 100's of them, have a 42" scanner & 42" printer. I just told them what I wanted. Now old & out dated, new stuff should work even better.
Some scanners will blow up or shrink an image.
