need advice on 5525

hi Everyone,

I have a mahindra 5525 and need some advice. when doing loader work even with ballast such as bb the tractor will lose traction. i am working on level ground, that it good ground not anything squishy. it also loses traction while bushhogging and other things. i am very pleased with the tractor other than the traction loss but realy am not excited about going out to use it just because of this. Can anyone help me? has anyone had similar problems? I was thinking about loading the tires, would this help? Any responses are well apreciated....

If your rear tires aren't loaded, shame on your dealer. The words tractor, and traction just kinda go together.

I've used my 5525 for brush hogging without filled tires with no traction loss that I could detect. I have regular ag tires on my 5525. I mow my 7-acre field when the weeds are pretty dry and about 2-3 feet tall.

The rotary mower is a 6-ft Hawkline. The tractor on the right is the Kubota B7510HST trade-in that was part of the deal for the 5525.

What type of rear tires are on your tractor?

I figured it out. He got the Mahindra with the crop circle feature. Look under the dash for a toggle switch. That will bring you back down to earth in a hurry.

guys, disreguard the comment i made about the bushhogging.

one example i can give is when i go to get a load of dirt in the bucket i will be backing out of the pile and just let the clutch oit easy and the wheels will just dig in. sometimes they back on out but if i hit a small hole or small piece of branch the wheels will just start digging in and spinning. Maybe this is just normal for a two wheel drive tractor. i am a first time tractor buyer and don't know much. i can understand if this is nor mal because with a full bucket and loader and all that wieght up front i can see how it could take away from the back. thankyou for responses.

Just add some rear weight.
