Need advice on Alfalfa

They will work it out. With 20 head I would just ring it and forget it. I have not watched too many cattle go hungry. Ring will help with what they waste but where ever you feed them there will be some waste even from feed bunks.

Just back from SD. Most calves are just off the cows and weaned only a week or so.

Some guys are heading straight for the sale barn with 'em!

Bringin' upwards of $1.80-$1.85 a pound for 550-650 lb calves! Hardly ever seen anything like it... Used to be TOP DOLLAR was around the $1.15 point.

Yeah calf prices are up,the down side paying $100 roll hay and cubes are way up,kinda offsets
