Looking at two used compact tractors.

1. Ford NH 1750 w/loader 100hrs for $11,900.00
2. Ford NH 1910 w/loader 800hrs for $9,800.00

Was wondering if these prices were fair that the dealer is asking.

Also which tractor will be most ideal for a third (utility) tractor use on our small cattle farm for manure handling, raking hay, snow removal, etc.

Any advice or experience will be appreciated.

Thanks

I had both a 2120 and a 1710. The 1715 is an ecoonomy version of the 1710. The 2120 is the big brother of the 2120. There is no comparison if your trying to do any serious work. the 1910 is an excellent machine in a mid to large size frame. 800 hours is nothing and the price seems fine. I'd go for the 1910. The 1715 is considerably smaller and less capable tractor, although a decent machine if you don't need the 1910's capabilities.

Thanks for the input.

I looked at the 1910 today. It was a nice looking trctor but for the hours it was beat, in my opinion. Sloopy steering, poor clutch and PTO was shot. Someone really abused this nice tractor, I think a case of passive aggresiveness.

Had to pass on it.
