I have the 2015 RX6620PS the owners manual says change the tran/hyd. filter after 50 hours. At 200 hours then fluid and filter. So I loosen the filter and fluid starts coming out, no problem I think its just what's in the filter and lines. Well it just keeps coming out. So the question is; how do I change just the filter without draining a whole bunch of fluid?

For those who read this but had no answer; here's what I did.
Backed the tractor up on some 8" blocks, making the back end higher than the front. My plan was to just spin the old one off and spin the new one on. When I got the old one off only about a quart or so came out, then nothing. It's a good thing because the new one only went on about a half a thread and stopped. I had to use the chain wrench for another half turn then it spun right on.
So now my full 50 hour service is done!!:)

Glad you were able to get it worked out, my 50 hr service is just a few hours away on my NX but it requires fluid change with the filter. Not sure if I'll do mine or just make the dealer do it.
