Need an Engine

Hello! I have a Deutz Allis 5230 MFWD with a Frey loader. The other day, it threw a rod cap right through the block. In searching for a new engine (I only found 1 between Canada and the United States), I have to wonder if any other engine such as Iseki, Perkins, etc would fit. Anyone out there with experience in engine swaps on this tractor? It came with a Toyosha MS150, 3 cylinder, 1.5 litre, non-turbo charged diesel. I also own a 1953 Farmall Super H with original wide front axle, a Twin Draulic loader, a home made 2 point hitch and dual rear wheels. It runs just fine.

Another Toyosha is your only option. I have the 2 cylinder in mine. Great motors.

There are also several large agg salvage yards around the country. Perhaps your agg dealer can help with that source.
