Buying Advice Need filter advice - TU1700

Well, I bought the 1700 I mentioned in the other thread. Now that I have it I want to change the oil and some other fluids before I really use it. It has been sitting for a while.

I have been searching the forum and the web but I can not find out what oil filter I should use. Does anyone have a common oil filter number for the TU1700? If I am not mistaken it is the same as TU1900 TU2100 G214/2104 models.

Also, does anyone have a link for where I can buy a manual?

While I am asking what about the air filter. Does anyone have a link for the model number and maybe where I can buy one online?

Because I need to do this tonight I called EFC Equipment and they told me Baldwin B243 which I am pretty sure converts to

Mobile M1-209 / Napa 1516 / Baldwin B243

I still need the other filter numbers or sources if anyone has them.

Well, I got the Napa filter and it does not fit in the space allowed.

I found on another list that AC Delco RF1245 is the right one but that does not correspond to B243.

I will probably try the delco today

Bill I have a TL2100. Fuel and oil were no problem getting but I was having trouble finding an air filter for it. Leonard Sheaffer who posts here regularly had one. If your not sure about the filter #s take the old one with you to your parts store. They should have no problem matching it. The hydraulic filter on mine is a permanent one that you wash out. Don't know whether yours would be also.
Not sure what manuals are available for your machine. Parts would be a good one to have. With tractors that have been sitting alot acouple things you should do right away are change the hydrualic oil or at least make sure its not milky( water will seep into the transmission over time especially if the shifter boot is cracked or broken. Also change the oil in your injector pump and make sure the front axle if its 4wd has fluid in it. I've seen manuals for your machine on a site called Yenibiz out of Belguim but they ain't cheap. I will check and verify when I get home today, but if my memory serves me well a NAPA Gold 1307 will fit. I will also get the fuel filter and air filter numbers for you. Len is great with these tractors and nice to work with also.
