Id have to check, but on mine,(similar)the dealer used one port to tap off a hydraulics loop for my splitter , Since, I have "spliced' into it to run another valve, for the Hydraulic top Link and plow swing. As long as the fluid is looped through the valves, and the end of the loop was hooked into the return hydraulic block under the tractor.I will get some pics to show you which port he used,
Maybe you can can post some also.

With 3 lines, one is the pressure inlet to the loader valve. One is the return to tank line from the loader valve. The other is the power beyond line from the loader valve. The loader valve is probably marked as to which is which. If not, you can surely find a 1720 manual on the internet somewhere and it should tell which line is actually which.

HMM after I read this, I had you in mind Mad.
I knew you'd know what was what and how to word it.
Were you hinting that there are 1720 manuals online? Other than purchasing the hard copy? I haven't searched since last year. And as usual have procrastinated about buying the hard copy. LOL.
Thanks

Always in series with the power beyond. If you go in series with the return to tank line you will have basically nothing since tank fluid is neutral pressure and comes from the work ports not from the pump. BTW, your tractor has an open center system.

I have posted the plumbing instructions for aux valves here on TBN dozens of times. It's simple and easy to follow. Do a search for Rear Remotes and my user name and you will find them.

Good Luck.
