Hello all.
My in laws had their YM1700 damaged in the recent tornado storms here in Viloina, Ar.
I am in the process of looking it over to see what it will take to get it going again. If I can do it for a few hundred then good if not then I will sell for parts. I bough this tractor for them about 4 years ago for $500.00 and only had to replace the steering control box. Since then this thing has ran like a champ and only needed maintenance oil and stuff.
What I really need to to compare things to to make sure I don't miss any thing and start spending money to find out I missed a big part and now have to much invested is some over all pics of a YM1700 as well as some good detail pics of the engine, radiator area and any other areas you can think of.
Right now I know I need a new steering wheel, radiator, fan blade, muffler, and a diesel cap or maybe a who new tank if I can't find just a cap. I was able to salvage the seat of of their John Deere lawn mower and with just a simple homemade bracket make it work so there is a few dollars saved. I thing with a little care and a bog hammer I can beat the hood back into useable shape and weld it back to the pivot piece it broke off of.
Anyway any help would be grateful!
Here is a pic of it the day after the storm.http://www.shooters101.com/images/storm5.jpg
