i was looking at kubotas but seeing the JD dealer is five miles away it only makes sense to go green. plus my 455 needs a big brother... i have narrowed it down to two tractors but cannot decide....

the first tractor is a 04 4310 with a loader, 59 snowblower and a bush hog.

the second tractor is an 05 4410 with a loader and a curtis cab.

both have the same hours and the same price. which would be the better of the two? it is going to be more of a toy to play with around the house to run a tiller for the garden and to accomplish some landscaping projects.

thank you for the help...

Assuming it's the 430 loader on each ask the dealer to include the snow blower with the 4410. Other than that it's going to depend on which accessories you want more.
The only difference between the two tractors, spec wise, is 3 horsepower. Literally every other specification is exactly the same across the board.

Identical transmissions? Identical SCV's or Power-Beyond? If I lived in Maine - I'd want the cab (and the tractor with eHydro tranny). :D

Maine = Cab.
Tell them to throw the blower in to close the deal. The 3 extra HP will help pulling thru the snow.

Good Luck, JB.

i am not sure i really need the blower as i have the 47 inch on my 455 and i have a cab on that as well.... i could certainly use the bush hog but that those are relatively cheap to find used. the only thing that concerns me with the cab is being able to get in my garage..... i will have to take a close look at each.

the 4310 has r4's and the 4410 has turf tires... which is better fo using around the house?

thank you again for the help....

Around the house I would opt for turf tires. It's the one thing I would change from my current setup to be perfect (for me).

Around the house on grass? if so turf. All around the property? probably the R-4's, I try and stay off the grass with my 4310 and R-4's unless I have to.

ok, now the big question... what is a fair price for either tractor? what would be considered a good deal?

thank you for the help!

What you haven't mentioned is the transmission. Are both hydro? Both machines were offered in hydro or ePowerReverser. I have a 4410 with ePowerReverser. I'm very happy with the tractor, but some days (heavy loader work) wish that I had opted for the hydro.
