kubota L 3540 hsdc,B 2320 hsdc & lots of other stuff!
I need to remove the roof on my 3540. Dealer is 50 miles away, we are straight out working 7 days! I know that the issue is that the drain hose has fallen off the ac unit and is draining into my headliner!!!! Its an easy fix! Can anyone walk me through the roof removal, much thankx, LK.

I am not familliar with your tractor but my New Holland was doing the same thing . It is easier to drop the hood lining down at the front to fix it rather than removing the roof as the pipes are at the bottom and you probably wont be able to access them from the top . Also before you do that check to make sure the drains are not blocked , mud wasps etc which will cause them to back up and overflow .

I can't imagine dropping the headliner would be terribly bad. Those little button looking things around the edges........ you need use a small pick or something to pull the centers down on them. They should just about fall out then(they expand when you push the centers in, holding them in place). Remove all trim screws around the A/C vents, etc. Obviously drop the radio box........ it should drop enough to reach behind and unplug/disconnect the heater / AC control. I think i'd drop the liner before i pulled the roof..... but of course this is purely speculation.

Im all for pulling the roof, but dropping the headliner, i think i will let kubota techs do that under warranty. I hate to say it as i love kubota and have been very happy with them, however, if this was a cat purchase, there would be a feild service tech at my shop or on site tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my wiper motor failed i insisted that i install it as the hood liner had to be dropped . I could see in my mind the scratches , grubby finger prints etc that would annoy me forever . The retaining plugs have a plastic pin in the center that simply pushes in an releases the clips . After removing the mirror and a couple of screws i was able to lower the front end enough to replace the motor . All's good now and no damage . The roof on a tractor is not just screwed down it is also sealed to prevent water ingress etc and is a mission to release . I respect your decision not to drop the linning but keep in mind the posibility that a 17 year old kid with no idea will be learning on your tractor .
