Need help deciding on what to purchase

You have some great choices there. I drove a Little JD slightly bigger than what you are looking at a couple of months ago and I was really impressed. I used to think that it was just green paint but it certainly had a better fit/finish/quality than the bobcat/kioti I used to own.

I think you will find that the other choices you are looking at are more of a value minded tractor that lacks the dealer network of JD or Kubota. There was a recent post that an owner of a Kubota and Mahindra was comparing the differences of the 2. Kubota had held up much better as far as corrosion and there were some cheaper components like the loader valve that really highlighted where costs were cut. That's the problem when you have several manufacturers trying to be the "cheapest" as opposed to the "best".

I think you are on the right track taking dealers into consideration. A good dealer who has been around for a while and services what they sell are worth a lot. I'd recommend trying to drive as many as possible and I think you will get a feel for the subtle differences in each and find what works best for you. Things like operating the transmission shifter and loader? How you like the drive pedal setup? Does the 3 point have extendable links to make it easier to hook up? Any difficulty getting on and off certain models? Do you like the loader valve location? Visibility for the front bucket/forks? Does it come with a skid steer QA system?

There are lots of little differences. Best of luck with your purchase.

As you are probably aware, you have Ginop's East of Alanson on M68, They have lots of Kubotas and a few New Holland. There is Zarembas in Gaylord, they sell Mahindras. There lot was full this spring, but the picking is few and far in between as they are sell a lot of them. They still have a few with cabs, but mostly what is left is open station. Both Ginops and Zaremba can get one shipped in if they don't have what you want in stock. If you want to look at LS, there is a Amish dealer North of Mio [ closer to Fairview ] that has them. Good luck, and enjoy looking....!!!! I think there are more dealers over by Traverse City, but I never get down that way.

Thanks for the info. I walked Zaremba's lot earlier this year. It must have been too hot outside for the salesman. I went to Ginops in Alanson to purchase a 1025r with a ton of attachments for a great price. When we arrived they were loading it on someone's trailer (day late and a dollar short on that deal).

How's Vanderbilt Jerry, My grand parents lived on Jewell rd about 15 plus years ago.

I like it... I'm west of Vanderbilt out in the hills. All sugar maples/beech/cherry. Get's pretty hot in the summer though... and lot's of snow in the winter... The weather station S/W of Gaylord averages 140", and we normally get more than that... just from what is on the roofs up here... :)
That's how Zaremba's works, they arn't pushy. They let you look see then tell them what you want. They will come out and walk you thru stuff if you want. They tractor salesman is in an office in the North of the inside sales area. He has been selling tractors for many years, and is good at it. Roger Hansen. They give you an out the door price, plus sales tax, and gave me free beet juice in my rear 16.9X24's. Roger Hansen is his name.

Zaremba,s sells I.H. trucks, some lawn equipment, and used to sell Case tractors. They drop'd Case right after Sergio gutted Case/New Holland to get enough cash to get into the American car business. Same thing happened to Ginop's. They used to be a big New Holland dealer, now they hardly have any on the lot. They are full of Kubota's now, though. I think Zaremba's only has that one salesman. He will write you up real quick for a Mahindra, or turn around a do the same thing for a I.H. dump truck. They sell a lot of those, too... That is part of the reason they don't jump out there and bother you... He has the whole place to take care of. Not that they won't spend time with you if you need it.
