Need help finding a new welder?

I have a Hobart 210 mig and a miller tig. The Hobart is great in a home shop and has welded everything a throw at it. It was about 1200 with an alum spool gun and running gear. Not sure I would want it if I was in a commercial shop though. If you are thinking tig. Don't even consider a cheap brand. You will get headaches. Really glad I went blue vs my buddy who bought Chinese. I weld every week with it and by buddy orders parts for his every week. Happy shopping!

if I was getting a welder.. I'd almost for sure go 220v.. and the more amps the better. usually the more amps means the better duty cycle rating.

It's ideal when you have 100% duty cycle.. My hobart stickmate xl 235AC is 100% DC right at about 90-100a which is where I do the bulk of my welding.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys but i have decided to go with a company named longevity due to the price range i could afford, there customer service, and of course that 5 year warranty which sold me so even if it breaks down i'll be covered for some time now.....i'm posting some pics of my cuts and welds with my new toy so be sure to let me know what you think

What I think is that you know how to use a decent camera or know someone who knows.

As for your welding .... listen to Shield Arc.
