Need Help Identifying John Deere Part

Hello,

Would anyone be willing to help me identify this part? I am not very familiar with tractors and I don't know what tractor this part came off of. I am trying to post this part to sell and am having difficulty identifying what it is and what tractor it goes to. Inscribed on the cylinder is J-D WDM 3008 <P12847> 05/29/15 Thank you for your help in advance!

I really don't think it's a Deere part, Deere wouldn't put J-D, they're proud of their name and trademarks. My guess it's an aftermarket cylinder.

I googled the part number. Looks to be generic cylinder, but does show being used on a Wood-mizer 1992 LT30HD band sawmill. Open this link Hydraulic Components - Wood-mizer 1992 LT30HD Operation & Maintenance Manual [Page 22] to a Wood-Mizer parts list. Look at C3 in the components list.
