I had my engine out for several weeks to get it rebuilt and I can not figure out the placement of one of the springs.
I have looked at length at the service manual and at the parts diagram. They show a spring connecting to the end of the governor arm, I think it connects same place as the rod linking the governor and the throttle shaft on governor but I can not figure where it connects to carburetor? I have found a good source for rebuilding the Kawasaki FD620 engine. I don't want to put it on here as I don't have his permission but I will give information to anyone that will message me. I considered trying to rebuild mine but there is no machine shop in my area that will work on these engines as far as boring etc.

Attach a picture of the area you want help with, and I'll see if I can match that same area with a pic of my 425 linkage.

Fair enuf?

I am still in the stone age and don't have a good camera and my phone is no help. There is one small wire linkage between the governor arm and the carburetor throttle shaft. this is at the back of carburetor the upper link is for choke and the lower one is throttle. I am running it without this spring and it seems to work okay.
