Hello
I just bought a used BX2763A front blade. The previous owner modified it for another tractor. He cut off the bracket that the power angle cylinder connects to.

Can any one out there that is handy with measuring instruments help me with dimensions so that I can rebuild this missing part?

And also if someone has some close up photos so I can see what it should look like?

Or better yet would someone have an extra one of the entire black brackets laying around for sale? It is called "female hitch" part number 70001-00776

Thank you
Jeff H

I am in Texas on a business trip, but when I return home, I can get you the information you request. Hopefully, someone else will give you what you request.
Here are a couple of photos that may help you gain perspective, until then.

Essentially, what is "missing" is the piston that drives the "left and right" of the blade. Replacing that cylinder ought not be too big of a task for a talented welder.

Thank you BP
I have the cylinder and hoses, it came with it. The whole setup is complete except for that bracket being cut off. I just have to re-create what is missing.

I just noticed that the manual shows there should be 90 deg elbows on all 4 quick disconnects on the hose ends. My used setup came without the 90's, the qd's are on straight.

For those that already have this setup, are the 90's important? Should I go get them?

Can someone share a right side picture of the hoses hooked up?

Thanks

Thank you LB

I was hoping someone who was good with measuring instruments could give me some dimensions from any appropriate reference point to the centerline of the missing pin hole. See markings on this photo.

And then maybe some detail of how that end is constructed.

don't you have one lbrown? Do you think you could take a pic for him from your tractor and take measurements ? If I had one I'd take a pic but I don't.

Jeff,

OK, I am home, weary, from Texas. I can help you out with those dimensions.

Attached is a photo. What they cut off was the tail end which wraps up and holds the rear of the piston by providing a pivot point and bolt.

That should not have to be EXACTLY the same shape as the OEM, as long as you maintain the proper distance.

A better distance, which you do not X on your photo is this. Front the very beginning point, from the very tip of the triangular piece, to the center hole of the pivot is 10 1/2 inches. I can also compute from your X, from where the triangle finishes and piece becomes square? That distance is precisely 8 7/8" to the hole center. Of course, you will need an inch + of excess material behind that pivot hole.

The reason for the angular cut on the front of that piece is obviously to correspond generally to the angle of the blade when tilted far left.
