I think I have the problem solved with the violent sway on my trailer. The DPO/builder just welded some 1/2 inch pipe to the frame for the top of the spring shackle straps and ran 3/8 bolts through. This left a lot of side to side play.Fixed all that. Now I would like to redo the bushings on the spring itself and here is where I need your help. I have no idea what the axle came from so I don't know where to buy them.It is a drop style with king pin knuckles and swing style springs. The brake drum is not integral with the 5 lug nuts.Of course, maybe you can help me find the bushings.1 inch OD x 1/2 inch ID x 1 1/2 inch long.

If you still have some trouble McMaster Carr sells hundreds of different bushings and the size you discribed is pretty commom, happy hunting in your search.
