I just bought a non running tractor that I'm trying to diagnose and get her back to life. It is a 1967 model 150 diesel, with a freeman loader. Was told it ran when parked due to loader cylinder breaking.
For starters I will tell you what has been done. Took off loader for now to get tractor running, put on a New battery, new fuel lift pump, new filters, like new rebuilt starter, and just had injector pump rebuilt. All fluids checked, motor turns over great and to try and help prime the pump I have used starting fluid which cranks up but can not seem to get the pump to take over...have a small fuel line leak , so we plan to seal that up tomorrow, but would like some help figuring this thing out...I have a neighbor friend who is an avid diesel mechanic, but he has not worked on this model tractor before, so this is why I'm coming to you guys, I need some help! Thanks in advance...
