I just recieved my new MMM 54" for my BX2660.
When I try to install it the bracket at the front doesn't line up.
Sure, I can force it in position, but then it only holds the deck on one site.
I've included some pictures.

Is this normal and should I just use it this way??

I wouldn't use it if it don't fit right.
I've got a RCK54P-23BX on my BX24.
on my setup, it all fits right.
I wonder if the front linkage pieces are different for the different sizes of mowers... maybe they gave you the wrong bits.

looking again at my set up, the anti-scalp roller bracket welded on the front of the deck where the linkage attaches, ends up being pretty much dead-center under the tractor, therefore things line up at the front as well.

I would have to look at mine because I can't remember, but is it possible the bracket is backwards.

The bracket in my GR2120 is a little different than the one in the OP's pic so I can't make a comparison.

I'd like to see photos of the _rear_ mounting. Any chance that the deck is mis-mounted there? Don't see how else the deck could end up so off-center unless something is very bent.

Just slide(push) the deck over a little bit. It will even out once it's all lifted.

It's not on backwards but it is seriously out of line.

The center of the mower should be the same- whether it's a 54" or 60".

Looks like something was not properly placed in the jig when it was welded.

I would try a new front connecting frame first. If it's still out of line, it must be the mounts on the front of the mower.

Don't use it like that- the force you need to get it to line up will result in lateral pressure on the mower full time.

I also think something went wrong with the welding jig.
When lifting the deck to the upper position, the deck is "streched" so everything looks straight. When you let it drop, you can see the play on one side in the bracked slot.

lets take this one step at a time here - there could be so many variables for what it could be.

With the deck removed, take a look at the bolt round head that holds the front roller. is it flat with lip touching all the way around? is the ears coming off the deck holding that roller straight at nearly 90 degrees?

I'd have to look at mine, but it seems like its all the way to the side like yours is in the first photo. Mine is a 60" deck, but I don't think that would matter. The difference is, my front braket is fairly centerd up with the front of the tractor. Can you just move the deck around to make that fit better? It seems like until my deck is hooked up all the way, there is still a lot of movement that is available.
