Just slide(push) the deck over a little bit. It will even out once it's all lifted.

This is my suggestion as well.
Are the rear lift arms connected in the picture?

Edit: missed your post.
I believe my is this same way and has been for over 3 years now.

I also think something went wrong with the welding jig.
When lifting the deck to the upper position, the deck is "streched" so everything looks straight. When you let it drop, you can see the play on one side in the bracked slot.

I think i figured out whats wrong. On the front bracked are welded 2 u-shaped piecies, wich connect to the lips on the deck. One piece is welded about 2-3mm closer to the end. When connecting the brackef to the deck it will be pointing towards one side. Will try a new bracket soon....
Thanks for all the input!

Get that new bracket yet?

After I first read this thread I decided to re-adjust my deck. I made the stupid mistake of trying to perfect the cut after first getting it and found I only made it worse and I followed the manual. Well I got back to "ok" cutting status and left it like that for years.
This year the cut started to look worse than before so I decided to have another go at it.
Well after 2 nights and about 6 hours of trying different options and suggestions from people here on how to adjust these things, I gave up and went back the owners manual again.
Following the manual to the T, I could not get the cut height to match the dial indicator but I did manage to get the blades very close in alignment. I did have to loosen one side of the front linkage bracket nuts all the way out to get there.
Took it out for a test cut last night and I was estatic with joy, it's now cuts great! :cool2:

Strange thing is that with the height dial at 4, the cut height is only about ~3 1/4". I can turn it to "Top" and it locks up tight against the frame like it should but on 4 it seems to drop down too far.
Even the owners manual says that on number 4, you should put the gauges wheel pins in the very top hole. Well if I do that, the deck will be riding on the wheels instead of floating. So something is still off but at least it's cutting nice.

Next time, I'm taking it to the dealer to have them adjust it. :mur:
