Ok i understand the concept. I match is a quick attach system fore three point hitch implements. Right? How does it help with the hitch arm / tire rub problem? I want to run chains on my soon to be delivered 2520 with R4 tires while using a back blade. How big of a problem is or isn't this going to be?

Hi - I have iMatch and am running chains on my 2520 with R4s. The key is tightening the sway bars nice and snug and getting the chains sized right - shouldn't have a problem but it is tight. You may not be able to go all the way up with your 3 pt b/c as it gets higher it may rub. If you don't have iMatch you may be able to pull the sway bars in a bit but don't have experience with that. Also, if you have extra links on the inside of your chains make sure to cut them off so the don't swing up and rattle - common sense I know just passing it along

Cheers,
Brad

The iMatch holds the lower arms farther in than they might be on some rear attachments and the spacing never changes. So, once you have the iMatch on and the turnbuckles tightened so it can't sway, you get the tire clearance. As mentioned, turning the wheels to the widest setting also helps. However, I have not used tire chains and so can't verify that there is enough clearance for them.

Hey thanks! Good to know chains and r4 tires will clear with I-Match. But , will it work without?

I have a 2520 and I don't think you need i-match with putting your chains on. I took mine off only fits john deere implements. I am using a rear blade from tsc and love it for snow. just set your tires to wide side and put spacers on your implement to keep the lower arms all the way in. Then just center your 3 point and tighten your turn buckles.I ended up with a inch and a quater clearance on both sides from the tires to the lower arms. I personally don't think you are going to need chains unless you plan on plowing alot of deep snow, just push it backwards and you will be fine. Just my 2 cents.

PS IN DON'T REALLY LIKE THE JOHN DEERE i MATCH THEIRS NO ADJUSTMENTS TO THEM LIKE OTHER BRANDS.

I would get an IMatch. i tried my box blade without it once just to see.
and the arms rubbed the R4 tires. and there set wide. with imatch nothing rubs anymore.

I-match wont work with a woods rear blade?

Main advantage of I-match would be not having to mess with those tensioners on the lower lift arms. Also, I'd think it'd give you less clearance for connecting the PTO, which can be troublesome even with a bunch of clearance. Key to living without I-match is to put your implements on dollies. Only need a pieces of wood and a couple small dollies attached to ends of wood for brush hog front part. I've changed among 3 implements within about 30 minutes time when I've had to. This included using each one for 5 minutes or so in between disconnects.

I've heard people say that my KK carryall won't work on I-match.
