Need Info on 565 New Holland Baler

Hello, I am thinking about buying a 565 New Holland Baler. I am using a NH 310 but it's seen a lot of bales over the years. Just wondering if anybodys had any experience with a 565 (good or bad). And how much they go for new.

I was quoted $15.5K new, with just a chute, no ejector or hydraulic tension.

I have not used the 565 but my 575 has been great. Like any baler, the biggest thing is getting use to them. Once you learn how the baler likes to run then it is smooth sailing.

My neighbor has a 575 and its a monster, it really pumps out the bales, but I only have a 52HP tractor and cant upgrade tractor and baler right now.

I started out running my 575 behind my TN which was putting out about 50 pto hp at the time. I did run the baler but nowhere near as well as the 120 pto hp the 7710 is putting out.

I have not heard any complaints about the 565 or 570 so unless you plan on going commercial or putting up 20k bales a year then you will be fine with the 565. My baler is bigger then my current operation needs but when things are going well I can put up 3k bales a day which is what I need.

I have a 2003 NH 565 baler. I bought it used in 2005. I have not had any problems with it since I bought it. If your not in a hurry look around and you may be able to find a used one at a deal. I bought mine when it was 2 years old for $6995 and it look as good as the new one that was sitting beside it. That was $4000 - $5000 less than the late model used ones that I had been finding for sale.
