Need Info on Massey Ferguson Plow

Looks like there are some people on this site that are very knowledgeable about M-F tractors and attachments. I recently purchased this plow and would like to know the model as well as any points of interest that you may know about it. (Is it a poorly designed plow or very good?). Also, did it originally come with a rear gauge wheel? There are two holes which protrude beyond the rear bottom-just wondering if a wheel once bolted on there?? Any help would be appreciated.

Model 74......Good plow. Sold new from late 1950's until mid 1980's. Parts still available through MF/AGCO or a number of aftermarket sources. Looks like aftermarket landslides already. Yes it did have a tailwheel in the beginning. Properly adjusted you can "get by" without a tailwheel, but they'll trail more consistantly with one. Tailwheel is NOT the same animal as a gauge wheel.

Thanks for the really great info! I know that the previous owner replaced the shins and points and then parked the plow and never used it again. Can't wait for some rain to wet up the ground a bit and then give it a try!
