Need info on SCV for John Deere 970

I do not have a factory SCV on this tractor. I talked with a dealer and was told they were hard to come by. Is there a way I can put a singe or dual spool valve on this tractor and tap into the hydraulics? If so, where do I tap in and what type fittings do I need? The purpose for the tap is for a hyd. top link or some other rear attachment, no FEL.
