Need L245 - L2201 ROPS Cross Reference

After speaking with a couple of used equipment dealers in my area (who assured me the L245 ROPS would fit my L2201), I called the local Kubota dealer to order a ROPS. Of course, I had to place the order for a L245. Dealer said no problem, they would call me when it arrives. Shortly thereafter I had a message on my machine requesting the L245 variation (e.g., L245HC, L245Q?, etc.) from the identification plate that is riveted to the frame. They need the model variation to get the ROPS that fits correctly. The identification plate on my 2201 is gone. Anyone out there have any guidance on the 245 variations, the codes that will appear on the id plate, and what would most likely fit my tractor? Never knew there was more than one type of rollframe made for L245. Any that we have seen, have been all the same at the rear (square) axles that carry the ROPS. Our supplier manufactures only the one type ,which fits L245 and L2201 the same.In OZ we have several manufacturers of roll frames but I think each has only one type for L245. I cant see L245HC or Q or whatever making any difference as far as fitting a ROPS.

CSH, the L245HC is a hi-clearance offset design like the Farmall A or 140. As far as I know, all other L245's are standard design, so roll guard should interchange between them.

Thought I'd follow up on this for the archive. I spoke with the dealer again yesterday and there are 3 different roll bars for the 245. The DT (4WD version), H (high clearance w/ offset driver seat), and the F (standard 2WD). Mine is the F configuration. Don't know where he came up with "Q" in the voice message that was left the same day that I ordered.

Could you advise the difference between the DT or the F version. I would have thought the back (where the ROPS mounts) would be the same on these tractors. I can understand the H with offset seat may be different.

BillK, no I cannot specify the difference between the DT and F. I am just passing along what the dealer told me. If I find out I'll be sure to post the details.
