... Is there any special attaching bracket needed for the BX2350? ... I assume I would need something if I wanted to get the hydraulic controlled chute...

A typical 3PH snowblower will attach to the tractor using the standard equipment which comes with your BX2350. If you wish to use a hydraulic chute on the blower, then you will need to add a rear remote valve to the BX2350.

I bought a new Puma 84 last summer and have used it to move alot of snow already this winter. I decided on the Puma after researching and finding no negative comments posted on this brand. I did physically look at many other brands at dealerships, all over the state, and realized that the build quality on the Puma is incredible. I bought mine for $3000. cash tax included in August. I have moved alot of snow with it already this winter (900 ft. east/west driveway across a drifting field).
This blower works amazingly well, and I have had no problems with it thus far. After it is completely done snowing, I like to wait and let the wind blow it into a solid drift, just to give the snow a fighting chance! Last year, with a 7' plow on a truck, I would be out there at all hours of the night, pushing snow back and wondering if I could even get out through in the a.m. I have not added the rear remotes yet, so it only blows one direction. Even with that limitation. I can clear 12" of snow in 1.5 hrs. including in and around the buildings. I have used it to widen the neighbors driveway which was already nearly impassible, after they had plowed it several time. I could literally vaporize the 6' snow banks with the blower. I would highly recommend this brand of blower.

Thanks for the input. I am liking what I am reading on those too. Only problem is that there is not a dealer I can find in CO. I think the closest one was in Salt Lake which is quite a distance. The search continues...

Some say there are no differences in most everything that is built! I often wonder how much experience they have or the amount they might have exposure to! I have found the Allied to do good in tight quarters of housing as it blows the least distance. The main blower in many of the blowers only have three paddles vs the four paddle units. The gap on the allieds paddles is also about the largest to the rim sheet I've seen so it has less chance of being bent with stones on gravel driveways, a plus for them. This gives them the least performance in the distance department as well as overall volume.
There are many good brands and the Puma is a good blower for both volume as well as distance.

The Puma's are nice, but very $$$. Even here in northern VT close to the Canadian border finding them was hard. There was 1 dealer that covered like all norhtern NY, VT, NH. And when I found that dealer, Pronovost had just increased their prices again b/c of the exchange rate. No thanks. Plus, I figured if just finding the blower was that hard, then if I ever needed parts I'd really be screwed.
So after lots of reading and talking to various dealers I went w/ Meteor. Another Canadian company. The unit is built thick and I've been very impressed w/ it.

So you can check out brands like Meteor, Erskine, Agrotrends etc. Have fun!

I've got a Loftness 60" on my 2150 (24hp). It seems well built and hasn't needed anything. It gets thru some deep snow and seems to do better as the snow piles up. I acquired it used, so i can't comment on pricing or availability out by you.

I own a BX2350 and bought the Farm King 50" (Buhler) rear blower. I have been through some pretty deep snow and it works great. You will want to keep the FEL on the front as the blower makes the front end light without it. I paid $1550 for it new.
