Need some 5/8 inch round keyed shafting

I thought there was a steel supplier that would do small quanities over the internet, but I can't find them. Anyone know who I'm talking about. What I need is 1 pc of 5/8" dia. x 3/16" keyed 14" long 1045 steel shafting sent thru regular mail. The few places that I've found either would deal with the end user or wanted $100 minimum charge. I'm tryin' to repair a old lawn mower. bjr

McMaster Carr has all kinds of stuff, including keyed shafting. As far as I know there is no minimum order, don't know if they will have the grade your looking for or not though.

Also try SurplusCenter, a TBN advertiser. No minimums, and tech support,
too.

Check with a local machine shop? they should be able to make it up.
