Hello to all fellow Branson owners. Long-time reader of the site.

I need to find a good, reliable dealer on the site here that I can get info from and parts when I NEED them. The dealer I bought my tractor from is not what I would call easy to work with and I've become a little frustrated to say the least. They no longer have any tractors for sell and they really don't have any way to service the tractors if there are any issues. Of course that could have a lot to do with the present day economy.

I am the proud owner of a 4220 and I love the tractor. I've had her for 5 years and with no past issues. It does everything I ask it to do and i do all of the service myself. I am an avid believer of keeping my equipment in good shape. That includes washing, waxing, and whatever needs fixing during the winter months As a winter project I've decided to re-paint the hood since the primer was starting to show through. I also was going to replace the seat since the material was split. But my dealer told me that a replacement cusion was $360.00. So I took it to a auto upholstery shop and am having it recovered for $60.00 with better material.

My problem with the paint is that my dealer says that there is no paint code for the tractor and that the paint color is a closely guarded secret. So I ordered 4 spray cans to do the hood job. But at $15.00/can I really think i am being take advantage of. Heck, paint for my JD 935 was way cheaper and we all know how expensive green paint can run.

So, I need to find a new dealer. Can anyone help.

Thanks

So where you located Heavy Duty?

The Great state of North Carolina. To be exact North Eastern N.C. I live about 60 miles from Norfolk, Va.

Thanks

I have also bought a can of the "Branson" red paint, and also paid the premium price. If there is a Tractor Supply store in your area, check out the "Huskey" red, it's a real good match.
There are a few Branson dealers that frequent this board. You are bound to here from one of them.

A point of clarification on the paint. The brand is Valspar and the color is "Huskee Red" 5339-28. You cannot tell the difference between it and "Branson Red". Except for the price of course:D
