At 29.8 hours my tractor went into limp mode. The error code is S 91 and the bottom code is F31. Does anyone have a clue???
What I have done, I disconnected the battery and reconnected it. I disconnected the battery and ECU connections and then reconnected. I checked all air filters, oil level, hydraulic fluid, radiator fluid. I’ve checked all fuses, I’ve loosed the filters on fuel filters and no water.
It’s odd that I put it away working like the champ it has been, and the next day upon first start it goes into Limp dick mode.
IMG_0601.JPGI’m waiting on my Dealer to report back to me. I’ll hate it if I got to take this to him, 2 hours and I’ll have to find a truck and trailer. Any help appreciated,,,,,

This is from an XR series manual, but I found the codes to be the same for XU series machines thus far.

Your dash shows 31 and 91. That should be foot pedal track two. I’d start there.
Any chance you have mice that might have chewed on some wires while it was parked?

Someone on Facebook beat you to finding the codes. I appreciate it from both you guys.
This tractor is fly by wire, lots of electrical connections.
Dealer is coming to get it Saturday, I hope he brings a computer and flashes the memory on the ecu before he does anything else. Put away a great running tractor woke up to a freaking limp mode code. New tractor is costing me when the dealer arrives.

I posted to your Facebook post also, but in case you didn't see it there. On my XR3135 there is a wire harness that was very close to the foot pedals linkages underneath. When my tractor wouldn't start it turns out one of the wires was cut. Considering the codes say something with the pedals I would look in that area for any cut or chaffed wires.

I appreciate it, have taken the pedal apart and put it back together a few times. It starts in limp mode with the code no matter what I have tried. My dealer is picking it up tomorrow.

Guess what? My new in April XU6158 with 30 hours on it has been at my dealers for a month now. Last time I talked to him he told me he was waiting for the regional service man to show up and fix it. I really thought it was going to be an easy fix, I guess not.
