Need some Help with White Outdoor 524 Snow Blower

Front gear box on our White 524 Snowblower had a gear strip down to shavings. I was wondering what other machines out there might use the same gears. Is this the same machine as the Toro 524? Or was this machine a rebranded MTD? Has been a great machine and moves some snow. Everything else works great, just need to have this box to run the augers & the second stage.

If you have the model # go to partstree.com and look up the actual part number you need. You can do a google search on the actual part number then. If it's a White odds are it's an MTD, so parts should be available for it.
