Need some info/advice. Who has first hand knowledge of Nimco and Brand?

I have a Nimco loader valve on my Montana that needs a boot and joystick control assembly. I can order the parts, minus the boot, from an LS tractor dealer as a kit for just over $300 plus shipping. And I would still have to find a Nimco dealer to buy the boot from.
I started to just order a Brand loader valve part# LV22RFSTKAB from ebay that would end up costing about $260 including the PB sleeve and shipping. But I have read some reviews on the Brand valve saying that it's quality isn't the best.

Is the Nimco a quality valve that I should spend the money on or is the Brand a better valve than the reviewers claim? Or is there a better way to go?

Part of my decision would be not wanting to do a lot of fab work to make a different valve work.

I had Nimco CV112** on my loader when I purchased the tractor and replaced it with a Prince model LV** because the Nimco had no metering or feathering capabilities. Nimco, like all valve manufacturers make several models of valves so it is difficult to condemn the whole valve line because one model for one person was unacceptable.

I understand that. I would be happy to keep using the Nimco but I need 3 items to fix it and so far I find they are only part of a $300+ parts kit. For the same money I can buy a new Brand and add a 1 spool valve next to it for my grapple. i just hate to buy the Brand if it's only good for a few years work.

I'm still trying to come up with an individual parts source for the Nimco.
