1986 Kubota L345DT
I bought a 86 Kubota L345DT 4x4 about 3 months ago. I'm having a couple issues with it. My clutch is not disengaging/engaging like it should. When pressing in the clutch and the brakes, the tractor is still trying to pull. Then the clutch pedal is not coming back up. I have to pull it up with my hand. Was told to replace the pedal spring,so I did but it didn't change any thing. Not sure if the spring was hooked right the first place. Been trying to find a pic or something to show me the correct way to hook up the spring, and info on adjusting the clutch.
The other issue is my red charge light is burning. I had the alternator checked and its good. Sometimes there's no power to the tractor at all. Found that if I wiggle the wires to the black box on the right of the fire wall(sitting in the seat it is on the right) it will get power then, but my charge light is still on. Any help, info and advice would be appreciated.

You should be able to Adjust the clutch travel rod... that should allow you ample travel to disengage the clutch & it will likely allow the clutch pressure plate the ability to 'help' push the petal back...
The Wiring Must be attached Tight And Clean... all connections including Both ends of Both battery cables Must be free of any corrosion and tight, or the charging system will be intermittent...

Thanks for the info Kenny V. Been looking up some info today about the clutch deal. My clutch arm is kind of hard to push back and forth, Was told today to grease the clutch release hub (throw out bearing). I looked it up in the owner manual and it does say grease it but it doesn't take much. Also found out that the clutch pedal needs greasing. Didn't know this because the grease fitting is gone, but the hole is there. Got it somewhat adjusted today, but needs a little more. With a little more adjusting and greasing them parts, maybe I'll get it running right. Thanks again
