Need some more quick opinions on Fiat 5546 !

Almost bought the 584 today that I was asking about.
Found a deal on a Fiat 5546, 4WD with loader and around 2300 hrs, only $1,000 more then the 2WD 584.
Need some quick info/opinions on it.
I'll end up putting a winch on it and using it in the woods 2 or 3 days a week.

If you have a parts source (ie dealer) around, I wouldn't be scared of it... I understand they have a good reputation.

Sparex has a parts depo in Alabama, they are an English based company with headquarters in Akron Ohio, they specialize in Europeon built tractors, and have alot of Fiat parts available.

FIAT = Fix It Again Tony !!!!!! I had a Fiat car once and once was enough.... consider the resale value in a few years in the equation. If there are not a lot of them around, that has to tell you something.

My uncle has lots of Oliver tractors with fiat engines.

They still continue to be trouble free many decades and thousands of hours latter.

Oliver, White, and Allis Chalmers all purchased tractors in the 50 to 60 HP range from Fiat for years. White up untill the early 80's Oliver models 1250, 1365, 1465, White 2-50, 2-60 Allis, 5050, and their 6060, 6070, 6080 all had Fiat drive trains
